The Brief

This private project involved the renovation of a prestigious five-bedroom penthouse in Kensington Palace Gardens. The brief was to integrate an advanced home automation system that could handle multiple technologies and match the high expectations of an ultra-prime client, without disrupting the carefully curated interior design.

The system needed to:

Work seamlessly with a Daikin VRV heating and cooling setup
Provide intuitive and elegant user control
Be flexible enough to manage the penthouse as either one large home or two separate units
Maintain design cohesion with minimal visual impact

Baulogic delivered a fully integrated, premium control system designed for effortless operation across lighting, heating, cooling, and security. It allowed the homeowner to control the property from anywhere, using:

Lighting control across both antique fixtures and DELTA flush-mounted tracks using DALI-2 for precision
Heating and cooling integration with Daikin’s VRV system per room - replacing traditional room controllers with a single, intuitive interface
Zoned management allowing the penthouse to operate as one space or two separate living units
Security camera control for complete remote monitoring

Installation was streamlined using Baulogic’s preconfigured panel and first-fix backplate, allowing quick setup and minimal disruption — crucial in high-value, detail-sensitive renovations.
